Every number on this site traces back to a real store, checked at a real time. Here's exactly how that works, end to end.
For every product we cover, we keep an independent record — called a listing — for each store that sells it: its current price, whether it's in stock, and a link straight to that store's page. A listing is never edited to "fix" a mismatch; it's a fact about what a store is showing, as of the last time we checked.
When two stores sell what looks like the same product, we group their listings together on the product page — but only when we're confident it's genuinely the same item. If we're not sure, we'd rather show it as a separate, similar listing than merge incorrectly.
Search results are individual store listings, not one merged page per product — you see exactly what each store shows, sorted cheapest first, with every listing linking straight back to where it came from.
Where we show a predicted price rather than a currently-listed one, it's marked as an estimate. We don't present a guess as a guaranteed price.
What actually happens between typing a product name and landing on the store that sells it cheapest.
Type a product name. As you type, quick suggestions appear — that's just a fast preview and doesn't count as a real search yet.
Hit enter and we show every matching listing we found, across every store — filterable by store and price, sorted cheapest first by default.
When several stores sell the same item, their listings are grouped with a link to the full product page — every store treated identically, none highlighted above another.
We never process the purchase. You complete it directly on the store's own site, from wherever turned out cheapest.
